Loxley

Disclosures

The disclosures applying to the programme, its records, and everything described in this documentation.

These disclosures apply to the whole of the Loxley programme and to every statement made in this documentation, and they should be read together with Treats are not money, which governs the status of Treats and of Pals.

Nature of the programme

Loxley is a promotional programme operated at the discretion of its operator, and participation in it is voluntary, revocable, and personal to the participating account; nothing in the programme constitutes an offer, a solicitation, an inducement, or a recommendation in respect of any product, service, instrument, or arrangement, and no statement in this documentation should be construed as advice of any kind, whether financial, investment, tax, or legal.

The operator makes no representation or warranty, express or implied, as to the continued availability of the programme or of any feature within it, and may modify, suspend, restrict, or terminate the programme in whole or in part, at any time, for any reason or for no reason, with or without notice to participants.

Pals

A Pal is a record maintained within the programme's own systems, and it exists only as an entry in those systems; it is not property, is not an asset, is not a certificate or evidence of any right, and is not capable of being valued, transferred, pledged, or dealt with in any manner other than through the transactions expressly described in this documentation and made available within the programme interface at the relevant time.

The traits, tier, markers, identifier, and provenance attached to a Pal are descriptive attributes maintained by the operator for the operation of the programme, they may be corrected where they are found to be erroneous, and they confer no entitlement of any kind on the holder of the Pal or on any other person.

The marketplace

The marketplace described in Listing a Pal, Direct trades, and Price discovery is an internal facility for the transfer of Pals between accounts within the programme; it is not an exchange, is not a trading venue, is not a marketplace within the meaning given to that term under any applicable regulatory regime, and it admits no participants other than accounts holding a current entitlement to participate in the programme.

Prices displayed within the marketplace are historical records of transfers that have already completed between participants, they are expressed in Treats and therefore in a unit having no cash value, and they are not indicative of value, of price, or of anything else outside the programme.

Records

All records relating to referrals, Pals, Treats, playdates, streaks, leaderboards, and transfers are maintained solely within the operator's own systems; no ledger, chain, register, or record of any kind is maintained outside those systems, no such record is published, and no third party holds, mirrors, verifies, or attests to any part of the programme's records.

Where an inconsistency arises between the programme interface, this documentation, and the operator's underlying records, the underlying records govern.

Limitation

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the operator excludes all liability arising from participation in the programme, from reliance on any statement in this documentation, and from any modification, suspension, restriction, or termination of the programme or of any feature within it, including in each case any loss of Pals, of Treats, of streaks, of leaderboard position, and of any expectation founded on any of them.

Loxley is not a real product. No programme described in this documentation exists, no Pal has ever hatched, and nothing on this site can be referred, bought, sold, or traded.
