Core concepts
The four terms the rest of this documentation is built from.
Four nouns carry the whole programme. Every other term in this documentation is defined against one of them.
- Referral
A recorded event in which a person you invited opens an account and completes verification. A referral is counted once, against one account, and cannot be counted again.
- Pal
The companion issued for a recorded referral. Each Pal is a distinct item in your collection with an identifier, a hatch date, a tier, and a set of traits.
- Trait
One generated property of a Pal, drawn from a category such as coat or headwear. A Pal's traits are decided at hatch and cannot be edited afterwards.
- Treat
The unit used to price Pals inside the programme. Treats have no cash value, no redemption value, and no relationship to any currency.
